We are seriously addicted to your Google Gadget Random cat photo. Evertime I’m on Google I can’t resist looking at photo after photo.
I would love to know when I can submit some photos of my own. Please keep me informed.

Looks like the ability to add our own great cat photos isn’t going to happen, as the author stated they were “working on it” two years ago.

I also agree, someone should be moderating these and removing any where cats are obviously being abused.
BTW, a shaved cat is not abused. Sometimes an owner must shave their long haired cat because mats have become a serious problem (often because the cat has thick, long hair and despite brushing, his hair will still become hopelessly matted). So chill people, a shaved cat is not abused.

I don’t know who to report you to when you show cruetly to animals with photos of cats shaved and painted. You should be ashamed of accepting them and worse, showing them.

There is pic that randomly showed today on my google home page. It is a picture of a white kitten being held by his 2 front paws while the rest of his body hangs. He is scared and you can’t tell if he is being dangled over a dog or water or what! This is not a funny picture. This poor baby looks like he is being abused. He/she is in pain! You don’t hold a kitty like that for ANY REASON!!! Not funny!!! Please take it off!!!!!!

Gotta love cats! I do agree with all of you that there are some stupid pictures and some where animals are being abused. The person who controls this site needs to start looking at the pictures before publishing them. Some of the captions ruin the pictures and make the situation seem worse. Others are hilarious! A few are not appropriate for kids though! I don’t think there are any new photos though…

As a cat lover myself I feel that once in a great while there are some funny captions that are attached to these cat photos however; most are just plain stupid. We all know and understand that cats can’t speak, spell, write or understand any human language but to make them sound like something that has severe brain damage is way outside of being funny.
And yes there needs to be a review of the pictures that are submitted before they are posted, some of them are abusive.

I am building a bird site on Wordpress, and am interested to know how your random cat photo app works. It looks like you got it from iGoogle. Does Google host your blog? If it is a Google app, do you know if there is one similar for Word Press - long shot I know - but thought I’d ask.
